Catherine Paget TEP is the lawyer behind the limited company. She has an MA from Cambridge University. She qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has held a current practising certificate for the past 28 years.
When it comes to Succession Law, Catherine is an ‘all-rounder’. She spent 15 years as a contentious probate litigation solicitor dealing with estate disputes and contested Court of Protection applications at a national law firm. She was a full member of ACTAPS, (the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) from 2005 to 2013.
Catherine gave lectures about contentious probate to the Institute of Legacy Managers and received referrals from the Official Solicitor’s Department. She has been published in the Trusts and Estates Law Journal, the Family Law Journal, the ACTAPS newsletter and WHICH magazine.
Since 2016, Catherine has worked as a non-contentious succession lawyer. She has full membership of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), which is the leading international body in the multi-disciplinary field of Trust and Estate work.
Catherine is also a member of the Society of Will Writers. She brings a rounded perspective to preparation of wills and estate planning as she knows the pitfalls that lead to will disputes and can give you advice which is tailored to your family’s individual circumstances.
